Overview
What is Centic
Centic gives your AI agent access to your restaurant's operating data so you can ask questions about sales, labour, reservations, and more — in plain English. Instead of logging into five different systems to piece a number together, you ask your agent, and it comes back with the answer.
How it works
Your data, in one place.
Centic is a data lake — a single place that holds all your restaurant's data. Today that means your point-of-sale, your labour and scheduling system, your reservation platform, and local weather for your location. Tomorrow it can include anything else that matters to you.
Connectors bring the data in.
Connectors are the pipes that continuously load data from your existing systems into the data lake. Once set up, they keep the data lake current automatically — no spreadsheets to download, no reports to run.
Your AI agent queries the data lake.
When you connect Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI agent to Centic, the agent gets direct access to your data lake. You ask a question in plain English, and the agent figures out which data it needs, combines whatever it has to combine, and gives you the answer. All the complexity is hidden from you.
Where you'll see this in your agent.
In Claude, Centic appears as a Connector you add in settings. In ChatGPT, it appears as an App you add to your chat. The name is different, but the result is the same: your agent can now answer questions about your restaurant.
You talk to your agent like a colleague. Your agent talks to the data lake. You get the answer.

Your data is safe
Your agent can only read, not change, your data. Only the restaurants you've been granted access to are visible.
